Russian-Taiwanese Research Collaboration |

On April 29, 2009, a joint discussion of a group of scientists was held at the Main Conference Hall of the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, Russian Academy of Sciences.
The following major reports were presented:
- Prof. R.C.Kao (Deputy Director, Tainan Hydraulics Laboratory, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan)
"Introduction to the Laboratory, ongoing research and perspectives of collaboration".
- Prof. P.O.Zavjalov (The P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, RAS)
"The collaboration project on tracing submarine groundwater discharges in the Taiwan coastal waters (preliminary results)".
